Amy Burger is an experienced breast cancer surgeon who has worked as a Consultant Oncoplastic surgeon in the NHS for a decade, performing a large range of procedures on the breast and axillary lymph nodes to offer her patients the best surgical outcome for their cancer.
Amy has over 10 years experience using silicone implants, saline expanders, and collagen-derived acellular dermal matrices for reconstruction. Recognising that the shape from a reconstruction is often different to the other ‘natural’ breast, she routinely performs symmetrising surgery on the other breast, such as reductions, uplifts (mastopexy) and augmentation with implants.
Building on this wealth of experience, she is delighted to be in the position to offer her skills in the private sector.
